This website is dedicated to the interested in the nine Frontier Wars which dominated 19th Century South African History.

The embittered struggle involved some of the greatest War Veterans of all time.  Renowned warrior Maqoma - the father of Guerilla Warfare and military legend Sir Harry Smith - England's favorite General.

This epic struggle against the loss of ancestral lands has given us great warriors of our own time such as Nelson Mandela and has contributed to the creation of a Modern South African Nation
